Tips for a successful home sleep test
Put everything on about 30 mins before you’re ready to go to bed.
Follow your normal bedtime routine.
We’re not looking to change any habits during the home sleep test.
Put the finger probe (oximeter) on your non-dominant hand.
Ex: If you’re right-handed, place the sensor on your left hand.
The nasal cannula (oxygen tubing) screws clockwise onto the silver post on the top of the test unit.
A green plus (+) indicator that does not turn off after a couple minutes means the blue belt is not attached correctly. Disconnect and reconnect the belt to reset.
The button on the front of the device is also the OFF button, don’t hold it down unless you are ready to end the study.
Be sure to wear the device for at least 6 hours each night you use it.
